U.S. Sets Dumping Margins on Chinese Threaded Rod
The U.S. Department of Commerce announced the preliminary results of the second administrative review of antidumping tariffs on certain steel threaded rod imports from China, Steel Orbis reports.
The review, requested by Vulcan Threaded Products, placed a preliminary dumping rate of 56.07% on several “mandatory respondents. Those include Chinese producer Jiaxing Brother Fastener Co. and its affiliated exporters, as well as IFI & Morgan Ltd. and RMB Fasteners Ltd, according to Steel Orbis.
All other Chinese companies reportedly face a dumping rate of 206%.
Imports subject to the duty are classified under HTSUS subheading 7318.15.5050, 7318.15.5090 and 7318.15.2095.
Final results of the administrative review, which covers the period from April 1, 2010, through March 31, 2011, will be issued with 120 days. ©2012 GlobalFastenerNews.com
