Gilchrist Foundation Scholarships Go to Moulton, Nelson, Strahm & Lyman

The Gilchrist Foundation awarded four 2012 scholarships: Brittany Moulton, sponsored by Edsco Fasteners of Elba, AL; Jack Nelson, sponsored by FPC Corporation of Waconda, IL; Kyle Strahm, sponsored by Würth Snider Bolt of Louisville, KY; and Daniel Lyman, sponsored by Hodell-Natco, Valley View, OH.

Robbie Gilchrist and Gina Gilchrist established the Gilchrist Foundation Fastener Scholarship in 2000 to return something to an industry that was very good and supportive to them.

The criteria for applying are that upon completion of their schooling the applicant must make an effort to work in the fastener industry or be a current employee from an NFDA or SEFA member company. 

The Gilchrist scholarship may be applied for during any year of a persons schooling and applicants may be a part time student working in the fastener industry. 

The scholarships are available to NFDA and SEFA member company students.
