Great Lakes Fasteners Win Growth Award for 2nd Time
Great Lakes Fasteners won the Cascade Capital Growth Award for the second consecutive year after posting “sizable revenue gains and for creating new jobs for Northeast Ohio.”
The award is presented to companies that grow sales 100% or $5M over five years and/or grow the number of full-time employees by 50% or 25 employees.
“The City of Twinsburg is pleased to be home to high growth businesses like Great Lakes Fasteners. Not only has GLF grown rapidly in sales, they have created several new jobs in the city and continue to expand their corporate campus, it is because of companies like GLF that Twinsburg remains a vibrant community and a hub of business activity” stated Larry Finch, the Director, Community Planning and Development for the City of Twinsburg.
GLF president Kevin Weidinger said his company has experienced success “because of our teams’ tireless effort to provide quality fasteners at a competitive price, packaged in a way our customers request.”
“During these fluid economic times, you can choose to pull your head inside the turtle shell and wait out the storm or you can step-up and seize opportunities. GLF chose to expand and invest and it’s paying dividends,” Weidinger continued.
