Taiwan’s Yieh Hsing Hikes Wire Rod Prices

Follow the lead of other Asian steel manufacturers, wire rod producer Yieh Hsing of Taiwan announced price increases of NT$500/ton for December, Yieh Corp. reports.
The firm’s list prices of Al-killed wire rods is now NT$22,800/ton; rimmed wire rods is  NT$22,000/ton; and blast furnace (BF) killed wire rods is NT$21,500/ton.

While China Steel Corp. kept its wire rod prices unchanged for December, Feng Hsin increased its prices by NT$500/ton and Quintain Steel boosted its prices by NT$1,000/ton, according to Yieh Corp. ©2012 GlobalFastenerNews.com
