Larry Dray is director of supply chain management. He has 30 years expertise in sourcing for domestic and global manufacturers and is based at EFG’s Quality Bolt & Screw division.
Alicia Sanford was appointed technical sales representative for Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Sanford has 20 years in the fastener industry, including industrial sales engineering and account management roles with Camcar-Textron, Acument and Ifastgroupe.

Fabory Group opened its new North American corporate center in Cascade Township, MI, MLive.com reports.
Located at 3366 Kraft Ave. SE, the 50,000 sq ft office and warehouse facility distributes fasteners to OEMs in the U.S. and Canada.
Fabory has operated in West Michigan since 1977, but moved from 8715 Bryon Commerce Drive in Byron Township to its new location.
The new location offers more office space, warehouse capabilities, and testing labs for the 20,000 fastener products Fabory supplies. The company employs 40 workers in Michigan, and operates sales offices in Houston, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Mike Setlock is managing director for Fabory North America, and Jim Lindrup is VP of North American operations.
Fabory Group was acquired on August 31, 2011, by Grainger for $346 million. Web: fabory.us
FMW Fasteners launched the latest version of fmwfasteners.com.
“We wanted to offer improvements in three key areas for our online consumer,” said Taha Raja, General Manager of FMW Fasteners. “We wanted to provide a cleaner, more intuitive UI (user interface) for better browsing, we wanted to offer improved “search” functionality so that users can find what they need more quickly and with fewer clicks and we wanted to offer better ways to re-order items so that repeat purchases can be done more quickly.”
Sales manager Steve Baker said the company chose HTML5 in completely redesigning the website.
“This benefits our customers in that regardless of the device they use, whether a PC, a tablet or their phone, the website will render correctly and be more usable for the browser and the device they are working from.”

Spirol Industries Ltd. received the General Motors 2012 Supplier Quality Excellence Award. GM’s Supplier Quality Engineers design and manufacturing engineers and other personnel determine quality performance in areas of line interruptions, recalls, and corrective actions for the award.

Western Wire Products added two new CNC wireformers. The small diameter one is the Herdon CSX20- Hydrid offering 16 axes of motion handling wire diameters 0.016 to 0.093 inch. The large wireformer is the Numalliance 216 Robomac for wire diameters 0.312 to 0.625 inch.
Western Wire now has 18 CNCs. Sales manager Tim Parker noted that the machines were needed to help shorten lead-times, which had lengthened during the summer of 2012.
Western Wire is headed by third-generation family member Gene Young, who started working with the company in 1975.
Western Wire dates back to 1907 with the invention of a machine that made woven wire fabric.
The Great Western Wire Fence & Manufacturing Co. was incorporated and has been manufacturing wire products since 1914.
