Casey McIlhon announced he is closing his fastener rep agency, McIlhon & Associates, to join Assembled Products Inc. as executive vice president of sales.
Assembled Products grew out of the McIlhon family’s Iowa Industrial Products distributorship, which was founded in 1960 by Dan McIlhon. IIP was sold to Bossard in 1999.
Ed McIlhon, the 1994-95 president of the National Industrial Fastener Distributors Association, acquired the kits and bundling unit from Bossard in 2005 to form Assembled Products. Ed McIlhon is Casey McIlhon’s father.
Four members of the family have been presidents of the National Fastener Distributors Association: Dan 1968-70; Ed 1994-45; Joe 1999-2000; and Matt Ulrich 2011-12.
