The 2013 Fastener Fair Stuttgart opened February 26 on a snowy day with record numbers of exhibiting companies and exhibit space.
Show organizer UK-based Mack Brooks Exhibitions reported the number of exhibiting companies up 21% to 811 and total exhibit space rose 30% over the 2011 biennial trade show in Germany. Net exhibit space totals 16,000 sq meters.
“We are particularly delighted to be able to say that there was lively trading activity taking place throughout the three exhibition halls and the atmosphere was buoyant. A large number of exhibitors were able to report excellent sales figures and valuable business contacts. We want to congratulate our exhibitors and visitors for this great success,” stated Susanne Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair Stuttgart, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
While host country Germany accounted for the most exhibiting companies from a single nation — three quarters of exhibitors came from outside Germany, with Italy, Great Britain, Turkey, the Netherlands Spain, Poland, France and the U.S. as the leading Western exhibiting companies.
From Asia the largest number of companies were from Taiwan, China and India.
The next biennial Fastener Fair Stuttgart will be March 10-12, 2015 — again at Messe Stuttgart in Germany.
