The 2014 Taiwan International Fastener Show will move to the new Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.
Show organizers predict there will be 350 exhibiting companies totaling 800 booths at the April 14-15, 2014,
The trade show is organized by the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute, which represents fastener manufacturers; the Bureau of Foreign Trade; and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council
In addition to the trade show, there will be education sessions and participating fastener manufacturers will be hosting factory tours.
The 2014 will be the third biennial edition of the show. According to show organizers the first show in 2010 drew 1,500 overseas buyers from 64 countries and the 2012 show attracted 1,600 buyers from 70 countries.
Japan accounted for 21% of show visitors in 2012; followed by the U.S. at 12% and China 11%. The other leading countries in percent of show visitors were: Germany, India, Malaysia, Italy, Sweden, Thailand and Australia.
The trade show includes fasteners, fastener tools, meters and instruments, fastener manufacturing equipment and raw material suppliers.

The 2014 fastener exhibition differs from the first International Fastener Show held in 2013, which is organized by the Taiwan Fastener Trading Association. The second IFS is being planned for 2015. ©2012 GlobalFastenerNews.com
