Beacon Fasteners promoted Kameron Dorsey to national sales manager.

Dorsey joined Beacon in 1998 from AFI Industries in inside sales and grew the position into an account sales manager role.  Dorsey has been a Mid-West Fastener Association board member and he is on the National Fastener Distributors Association membership committee. 

Founded in 1979 by Bob Wegner and Gary Pavlik, Beacon supplies sems, thread forming and cutting screws, high-low self tapping screws, sheet metal tapping screws and new machine screws. Elgin Fastener Group appointed Carl Ondraka as general manager for Cleveland operations, which include Chandler Products, Quality Bolt & Screw and Telefast Industries.

Ondraka holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and Precision Machine Products Association.

Elgin acquired Telefast Industries earlier this year.

Southwest Fastener named Vanessa McMurry-Cox as marketing director, vice president Mike Birkhold announced.

McMurry-Cox has spent the last two years at AOR Direct LLC. Prior to that she worked on marketing campaigns for Pulte Homes and Del Webb.
