Brunner Manufacturing, a leader in the specialty cold formed fastener industry, has an immediate opening in its department. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in quality control of metals in a manufacturing environment and a working knowledge of ISO standards and auditing.

The Metallurgical Engineer works with quality control policies and processes and acts as a liaison between the quality control department, team members, customers and vendors, helping  the company to reach a higher level in its continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the Quality Department and staff, ISIR, PPAP, control plans and PFEMA documentation, performing 8-D and corrective actions requested by customers, performing analysis on failed parts, and spearheading quality initiatives.
