Dallas-based Aviall is an independent, global distributor of aviation parts and inventory management services to 13,000 general aviation customers and 300 airlines. Aviall sells products from more than 180 manufacturers.
In December 2001 Aviall won a 10-year contract for aftermarket fulfillment for a series of Rolls Royce engines.
Net sales increased 4.2% on the strength of parts sales as ILS sales dipped 5.4%.
