Mike Wrenn
Virgil Lindstrom announced fastener industry veteran Michael T. Wrenn is the new president of Lindstrom Metric LLC.
Wrenn will handle the direct day-to-day management of Lindstrom Metric.
Wrenn has 25 years of fastener distribution experience, including executive positions with major U.S. importers.
In early 2005 Wrenn was part of the management buyout of Heads & Threads International from parent company Alleghany Corp. At the time Wrenn was executive vice president of HTI. Soon after the buyout he became president of the company, a position he held for six years.
After Heads & Threads was acquired by Porteous Fastener Co. in 2011, Wrenn joined Brighton Best as vice president of business development/product manager, working out of BBI’s Chicago office.
Upon naming Wrenn to lead Lindstrom Metric, Virgil Lindstrom took the title of chairman emeritus.
“My primary focus in that role will be to build stronger relationships with our customers and to continue my engagement within the fastener industry,” Lindstrom stated.
