Taiwan’s China Steel Corp. Keeps Prices Flat
Taiwan’s China Steel Corp. announced it will keep wholesale prices for September deliveries, according to Yieh Corp.
The company decided not to raise prices amid slower third quarter demand.
In June CSC predicted that full-year shipments are likely to decline 2.3% “due to oversupply in China.”
Taiwan fastener exports (HTS Code: 7318) to the U.S. dropped 0.7% in May to $124.5 million, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.
