LoneStar Announces Completion of European HQ
Connectivity issues push back facility opening until late September
LoneStar Group announced that its LoneStar Fasteners Europe (LSFE) headquarters in the West Midlands, UK, has been completed. The facility includes 95,000 square feet of warehouse and production space.
Extensive refurbishment began earlier this year, with the relocation of machinery, sales and commercial functions slated for completion by the end of August.
However, connectivity problems have delayed the relocation by four weeks. The company now says it will start moving machinery on September 5, with staff in place by September 21.
In March, LoneStar announced the alignment of PRD Fasteners, Eurofast Petrochemical Supplies and Triplefast International as one company to form LoneStar Fasteners Europe. The West Midlands facility will become the group’s European center for manufacturing and distribution of special & non-standard fasteners and gaskets.
Stuart Roden is managing director of LSFE.
Headquartered in Houston, TX, LoneStar Group manufactures and distributes SAE-, ASTM-, and ISO-grade commercial, specialty, and exotic alloy standard and metric fasteners to upstream OEMs in the oil and gas market, as well as the hydrocarbon processing and power generation industries.
