Goessling USA Breaks Ground On New HQ
Goessling USA, Inc. broke ground for its new 12,500 sq ft headquarters and manufacturing facility in Piney Flats, TN.
Founded in 1990 as a subsidiary of privately-owned German Dr. Ing. Gössling Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Goessling USA supplies conveyors, interlinking systems and centrifuges for the fastener industry. The company also provides solutions for other industries such as stamping, forging and casting.
“Following several years of constantly increasing order volumes, a larger production facility is required to cope with the growing demand,” the company stated.
Goessling USA added that the 6.39-acre property offers “sufficient space for the necessary enlargement and will also allow for future expansion.”
“This new facility will not only make it possible to increase the output of machinery which is presently manufactured in the USA, but will also allow the manufacture of larger conveyor systems previously manufactured at the German facility for the North American market, potentially creating new jobs in the Tri-Cities region.”
Construction is expected to begin this fall, with completion by Spring 2015. Web: goesslingusa.com
