Taiwan Screw Exports On Record Pace
Taiwan exported over 1 million tons of screws during the first eight months of 2014, ChinaFastener.com reports. The eight-month export value reached $2.8 billion.
Based on those results, analysts estimate screw exports from Taiwan will top 1.5 million tons by the end of the year — up 2.8% from the previous year — with the export value totaling $4 billion, according to ChinaFastener.com.
Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute statistics show Taiwan’s total screw exports in 2013 hit a record high of 1.4594 million tons, up 5.8% from a year earlier.
