MW Industries Acquires Helical Products
Specialty spring and fastener manufacturer MW Industries acquired Helical Products Co., a manufacturer of standard and custom couplings, U-Joints, and machined springs. Terms were not disclosed
Located in Santa Maria, CA, Helical Products has served domestic and international markets since 1961.
“Helical Products Company has an excellent reputation in the domestic and international marketplace for innovation, quality, and a true focus on the customer’s needs,” stated MW Industries CEO Bill Marcum.

The Helical Products deal is the latest in a string of acquisitions by MW Industries.
In early January MW Industries acquired Kemah, TX-based Maudlin & Son Mfg., a manufacturer of slotted shims, coil & flat shim stock, key stock, feeler gages, drill & threaded rod, and tool room supplies.
In July 2014, MW Industries acquired Bensenville, IL-based Hi-Performance Fastening Systems, which manufactures precision products for the appliance, automotive, communication, and housing markets.
Rosemont, IL-based MW Industries provides highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners, machined parts and other precision components to more than 23,000 customers in over 35 countries. Markets include the medical, aerospace, electronics, agriculture/construction, automotive replacement, military and energy industries.
