Kendall Reelected WAFD President

Steve Kendall of Portland Screw Co. was elected to a second term as president of the Western Association of Fastener Distributors.\
Kendall is a second generation WAFD president.� His father, Dave Kendall, served as WAFD�s second president from 1983 to 1984.
Alison Hubbard of North State Fastener in Sunnyvale, CA, was named vice president, and Dee Silver of Albuquerque-based Barnhill Bolt Co. was appointed secretary treasurer.
Other WAFD board members are Lou Boyd of The Olander Co. in Sunnyvale; Jay Hebert of Porteous Fastener Co. in Carson, CA; Kelly Lehman of Pacific Warehouse Sales in Santa Fe Springs, CA; and Fred Weston of Kent, WA-based Beawest Fasteners.
WAFD�s fall conference is scheduled for September 17-20, 2003, at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel in Park City, UT.
During the conference WAFD will pay tribute to retiring board members Bob Betts of The Olander Corp. in Redmond, WA; Andy Cohn of Santa Fe Springs-based Duncan Bolt; and Scott Sutherland of Western Fastener in San Diego.
