Jason Sandefur
Aviall Inc. reported net sales grew 30% to $251 million during the second quarter of 2003. However, Q2 net earnings posted a loss of $3.9 million compared to a gain of $7.8 million during the second quarter of 2002.
For the first six months of 2003, Dallas, TX-Aviall said net sales increased 39% to $502.3 million, while net earnings dropped 74% to $3.2 million. CEO Paul Fulchino said strong military sales countered continued softness in commercial aviation.
