Heads & Threads Sales Grow

Heads and Threads International reported net sales for the third quarter of 2003 improved 9% to $30.56 million. Nine-month sales for the Bloomingdale, IL-based master distributor and importer rose 1% to $85.8 million.
Parent company Alleghany Corp. announced Q3 net earnings more than tripled to $74.9 million on revenues of $355 million compared with revenues of $143.4 million during the third quarter of 2002.
