Emhart Buys Rivetmaker Masterfix

Emhart Teknologies acquired Dutch wholesale rivet producer Masterfix Products in Maastricht, southern Netherlands, for an undisclosed sum, the Dutch News Digest reports. Masterfix, which also produces blind fasteners, has sales offices in Germany, Britain and Spain. Masterfix rivets, which generate 75% of the company’s annual sales of EUR 18 million ($21.6 million), are made in China. The company employs 52 people.
