The Industrial Fasteners Institute and the National Fastener Distributors Association will conduct joint sessions during their co-located fall meetings September 29-October 1 in Chicago.
Wednesday: IFI Fastener coating issues for CCA phase-out: Lumber treatment in residential use
IFI Manufacturing lessons learned in the Precision Machined Products Association”s recent China report by Miles Free, PMPA director of technology.
Thursday: IFI Panel on zero defects in steel; NFDA Information & technology session; IFI Government affairs briefing; IFI Luncheon with Kim Korth of IRN Inc. speaking on current problems in the automotive supply chain; NFDA Executive roundtable on reducing supply chain transaction costs; IFI Fastener industry economic projections with economist Alan Beaulieu; NFDA Executive training session on building a profit team with Albert Bates of the Profit Planning Group.
There will be a joint welcome and networking reception Thursday evening, followed by a banquet.
The NFDA will conduct its one-on-one Executive Sales & Planning Sessions on Friday.
