Lawson Hits Record Sales

Lawson Products Inc. reported record income of $419.7 million in 2004, an increase of 7.9%. Full-year profit grew 33.5% to $21.4 million. CEO Robert Washlow touted the company”s $29 million of cash reserves and a lack of long-term debt. During 2004, the Company repurchased 249,236 shares of its common stock.
MRO sales gained 5.3% to $337.9 million during the year, while OEM sales climbed 20% to $81.8 million.
