ACQUISITIONS: Home Depot Acquires Brafasco

Home Depot acquired Brafasco Holdings II Inc. and its Brafasco subsidiaries.
In a letter to suppliers, Brafasco supply manager Paul Chatterton wrote that Home Depot “has aggressively pursued opportunities to grow its professional business through acquisition as well as aggressive organic investment to support accelerated growth in existing business units. The Home Depot wants us to become part of its distinguished team and to partner with us to accelerate our reach in this market.”
Chatterton assured fastener suppliers that “to ensure a smooth transition, we intend to maintain business as usual in the near term.”
