Bossard Group acquired an 80% share in Polish fastener supplier Sal-Pol SpZ o.o. \
Radom, Poland-based Sal-Pol was founded in 1991 and has 22 employees. Sal-Pol reports annual sales of approximately 3 million Swiss Francs (U.S. $2.43 million).
Sal-Pol has been working together with the Bossard Group for a long time and primarily supplies international industrial customers in Poland.
A Bossard statement described the acquisition as “an important step” in expanding in Eastern Europe. “Local presence will give the company direct access to the steadily growing market potential.” It also allows Bossard to provide more technical support and logistics in the Polish market.
