Precision Castparts Completes Shur-Lok Acquisition

Precision Castparts Corp. completed the acquisition of aerospace fastener manufacturer Shur-Lok Group.

Shur-Lok products include inserts, barrel nuts, adjustable diameter bolts, fluid fittings and locknuts. Shur-Lok has 270 employees at Shur-Lok Corporation of Irvine, CA, and Shur-Lok International of Petit-Rechain, Belgium.
Shur-Lok becomes part of PCC’s Fastener Products segment.

The acquisition, reportedly worth about $110 million, was financed by cash and existing credit lines.
