” TR Fastenings Ltd. launched an online CAD library with more than 20,000 fastener configurations in 27 different 2D and 3D formats. The library took six months to develop in partnership with 3D PartStream and part of a TR commitment to developing an on-line fastener “knowledge base”.
“We knew there was a real need for comprehensive fastener CAD library that engineers could access simply and easily,” says TR European marketing manager Keith Gibb, “but we were absolutely staggered by the speed and volume of response we received. The day after we sent our e-newsletter announcement we received 1,300 enquiries on the site, which represents around 18% of the recipients of the newsletter.” Access to the library is open to TR customers, both users and distributors.
