Originally the new headquarters was at 11 Doansburg Rd., but the city of Brewster renamed the street making the address 2 Powers Lane. In New Rochelle the headquarters address was 2 Powers Square.

The Brewster property was purchased by the Powers family and the office section was recently renovated at a cost exceeding $5 million, with most going to the engineering and development areas. Powers added a computerized security system, product testing and R&D facilities. There is an employee fitness room and cafeteria.
Founded 85 years ago as the Rawlplug Company, Powers manufactures mechanical and adhesive concrete anchoring systems; powder actuated and gas-fired fastening systems and accessories for the construction and plant maintenance markets.
Four brothers whose grandfather founded the firm now operate it: Christopher Powers, CEO; Stephen Powers, vice president/MIS; Frederic Powers III, vice president/materials; and Jeffery Powers. The company has a manufacturing plant in Hudson, MI, and 28 regional U.S. sales locations; two locations in Canada, eight in Australia and New Zealand; one each in Thailand and the Netherlands.
