Maclean-Fogg’s PWK Invests in China

MacLean Suspension & Linkage announced that its PWK Global Components division will invest in a new PWK China aluminum forging plant in Rizhao. MacLean Suspension is a wholly owned MacLean-Fog Company.
The plant will open in 2009 and produce high volume aluminum forge control arms with technology licensed from Raufoss Technology AS of Norway, a global manufacturer of light weight aluminum chassis suspension systems.

MacLean Suspension & Linkage CEO Tim Taylor said the new PWK China plant has already made commitments to deliver forged suspension components to Raufoss Technology as well as other Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs throughout Asia.

PWK Global Components has three plants: PWK Krefeld in Germany, PWK Flowform in U.S. and PWK Rizhao in China; and a trading company, PWK International, located at Presswerk Krefeld GmbH and Co.
