Alcoa Engineered Solution Sales & Profit Increase

Alcoa reported Engineered Solution segment sales, include Alcoa Fastening Systems, rose 5.2% to $1.48 billion during the second quarter of 2007, while operating income grew 5% to $105 million.
Engineered Solutions sales during the first six months of 2007 gained 6% to $2.93 billion, with operating income increasing 8% to $198 million.
