Dempsey Heads Barnes Distribution; Wolf Retiring

Barnes Group Inc. named Patrick Dempsey, 43, president of Barnes Distribution. Dempsey succeeds Idelle Wolf, 55, who is retiring. “Patrick is an outstanding leader who has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage a wide range of operations and deliver record-setting results,” commented CEO Gregory Milzcik.
Dempsey joined Barnes Group in 2000 as president of Barnes Aerospace”s Windsor Airmotive Division. In 2004 he was appointed president of Barnes Aerospace and a vice president of parent company Barnes Group.
Mr. Dempsey holds a bachelor”s degree in engineering technology and a master”s in business administration.
Milzcik will serve as interim president of Barnes Aerospace.
Wolf joined Barnes Distribution in 2000 as chief operating officer when Barnes Group acquired Curtis Industries. She took the helm at Barnes Distribution in December 2005.
