Powers Fasteners Inc. opened branch offices and warehouse facilities in Dallas and Houston, vice president of sales & marketing Len Colasuonno announced.

Chad Estill is Dallas branch manager and Kyle Thuenemann is jobsite specialist. Estill joined Powers in 2004 as the Dallas/Fort Worth sales rep. Previously Estill was a department supervisor with Home Depot. Thuenemann joins Powers after two years as as a sales representative for Trainor Associates, the Indianapolis-based Powers rep agency. Earlier Thuenemann operated his own concrete cutting firm and was a rep for Storey Machining Co.

Chris Salisbury is Houston branch manager and Ed Gilliam jobsite specialist. Salisbury was a sales representative for Team Associates, the agency representing Powers in southern Texas. Salisbury also had 10 years distributor sales experience with Lord & Sons and White Cap Construction Supply. Gilliam previously was a rep for Florida-based Allied Fastener & Tool for 13 years.

Colasuonno also announced Curtis Fickert is the new Philadelphia branch manager. Fickert has construction sales experience with Rocky Top Building Products, Hilti and Allentown Valve & Fitting Company.
