B/E Aerospace Fastener Earnings Soar

Strong demand for aerospace fasteners and a “significant expansion in product line” helped B/E Aerospace’s distribution segment sales, including fasteners, rise 27.4% to $100 million during the final quarter of 2007. Operating earnings soared 62.6% to $22.6 million, boosted by synergies from the integration of New York Fasteners (NYF), which B/E acquired in the third quarter of 2007.
Distribution sales during 2007 jumped 53.7% to $386.5 million, while operating earnings increased 69.6% to $85.5 million.
