Acument Global Technologies – Holly Operations Gainey Drive received the Michigan’s Star Award, the highest workplace safety and health award from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The Michigan Voluntary Protection Programs Star Award for outstanding safety and health programs recognizes worksites that provide exemplary safety and health protection for their workers.

The award was presented to Jim O’Dea, plant manager, and Martin Schnurr, vice president & general manager for Acument North America, during a ceremony on June 20, 2008.

The Holly facility employs 27 workers and produces metal washers for the automotive industry.
