” Brighton-Best International is adding 70,000 sq ft to its distribution center in Strongsville, OH. The project will allow Brighton-Best to carry deeper inventory and add about 25 new product lines, Manufacturing & Technology Journal reports.
“This expansion is just overdue,” national accounts manager Steve Andrasik told the Journal. “We’ll fill a void in the market with some of the lines.”
Brighton-Best has an existing 38,000 sq ft warehouse in Strongsville. The expansion project is expected to be complete by December.

” Kaiser Aluminum plans a $19 million expansion of Tennalum, its aerospace manufacturing plant in Jackson, TN, the Jackson Sun reports.
The move is expected to add up to 50 new jobs, according to general manager Mark Lane. The company currently employs about 200 to produce extruded aluminium fasteners.
The expansion will add 13,000 sq ft to Tennalum’s existing 310,000 square ft facility. The majority of the $19 million expansion cost will come in the form of equipment, Lane said. The investment includes the addition of an extrusion press, a heat-treat furnace and additional drawbenches.
