Fastenal Co. announced that CAO Sheryl Lisowski will serve in the additional role of interim CFO.
Lisowski, 48, has been the company’s controller and CAO since October 2013.
Previously she served as controller – accounting operations from March 2007 to October 2013, and prior to that served in various accounting and finance roles since joining Fastenal in 1994.
Lisowski will fill the role vacated by longtime CFO Daniel Florness when he became CEO of Fastenal on January 1. Florness, 51, replaced Will Oberton. Web: fastenal.com
Sean Waters is a new sales specialist for FastenersPlus.com, general manager Tammy Karr announced. Previously Waters was a sales manager for Home Depot.
FastenersPlus is an online retailer of fasteners to contractors, business owners and consumers. Fasteners Plus is owned by Clickstop Inc., which was founded in 2005 by Tim Guenther. Clickstop is an online retailer of niche brands in several different categories and includes USCargoControl.com and EcoFoil.com.
FastenersPlus is based in Iowa and ships from multiple warehouses in the U.S.

Lawson Products named Matthew Brown VP of field sales reporting to CEO Michael DeCata.
Brown, 52, has nearly 30 years of sales experience. Most recently he was Lawson Products senior director of sales.
He joined Lawson Products with the 2001 acquisition of Kent Automotive.
DeCata noted that under Brown’s leadership of the Kent brand, sales have “increased significantly.” Kent sales are nearly 20% of total Lawson sales.
Brown will set strategy and oversee the field sales team with regional sales directors reporting to him.
DeCata said the new role “helps position our company for growth as we continue to open untapped markets across North America.”
Founded in 1952, Lawson Products distributes 300,000 MRO products to industrial, commercial, institutional and government markets.
Lawson Products ships to customers in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from five North American distribution centers.

Brenda Kloberdanz, author of the “Hydrogen Embrittlement in Automotive Fastener Applications” article in the SAE Technical Paper Series, was inducted into the National Association of Professional Women’s VIP Woman of the Year Circle.
Kloberdanz is manager of business operations & program controls at LGS Innovations. Her engineering career began as a plant metallurgist at Howmet, followed by several positions at Chrysler Group. Kloberdanz has led product engineering teams through all stages of the product life cycle. She has identified and solved process or product gaps.
