Interstate Screw Marking 60th Anniversary

Interstate Screw Corporation of South Florida is marking the 60th anniversary of its founding in 1956 by Albert Seiden and Ronald Seiden. Albert had been in the Venetian blind business and Ronald was fresh out of college. Ronald was president from 1962 to 2013.

Interstate acquired Atlas Bolt & Nut Company from the Jim Walters Corporation in the 1970s and in the early 1980s Allied Screw of Dixie from Sterling Bolt of Texas.

Today Hermina Seiden is president; Dominick Melendez, vice president; and Debra Fortunate, general manager.

Interstate is a member of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association and the International Hurricane Protection Association.
