Bulten signed another contract to supply fasteners to a Russian vehicle manufacturer. The annual order value is for EUR 700,000.
“With this contract, we have made a significant breakthrough in the Russian market and further strengthened our position as manufacturer of high quality fasteners. We see good opportunities to continue to grow the business and increase our market share,” stated CEO Tommy Andersson.
Deliveries are expected to start in the second quarter 2017 to gradually increase up to full capacity in 2018. After that, deliveries will continue over a number of years. The full annual value is expected to reach EUR 700,000 in 2018 and then follow the life span of the vehicle and the volume curve.

EFC International named Teresa Amman supply chain director and Mike Massengill as plastics design / application engineer.
Amman has 30+ years experience in the automotive supply chain.

Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. is marking the 40th anniversary of its Southwest location.
The parent MMCC opened in 1963 in New York and a Chicago branch in 1974.
John Longyear, then assistant sales manager, and Chris Longyear, the company buyer, left the New York headquarters to open the 4,000-sq-ft branch in Northeast Dallas in 1976.

Tacoma Screw Products plans to open a branch in Wenatchee, WA. The site will be Tacoma Screw’s 13th Washington branch and 19th location overall.
The company said the Wenatchee branch will be a fully-inventoried branch with more than 45,000 products.
In March Tacoma Screw expanded into Montana by opening a location in Billings.
