Turkey Hikes Antidumping Measures

The Turkish government increased antidumping measures on fasteners imported from any country in consignments greater than two tons.

Previous measures applied four years ago as a result of intensive lobbying by BESIAD the Turkish fastener association under the leadership of Mustafa Tecdelioglu, managing director of fastener producer Cetin Civata.

The latest antidumping measures will cause importers to pay about 20% more for fasteners.
