Tweraser Group Acquires Kingnut
Kingnut International Inc. was acquired by the Tweraser Group of Companies. Terms were not disclosed.
Kingnut was formed in the U.S. in 2001 to produce its signature plastic push-on nut, a high performance plastic nut fastener with integrated lock pins that replace traditional threads. Since 2007 Parkland, FL-based Kingnut has operated production facilities in Clearwater, FL.
Parkland-based Tweraser was founded by Austrian entrepreneur Wolfgang Tweraser in 1997. Products include nail guns, wallboards, ceramics, LEDs, precision cut stones, Portland cement and drywall studs. ©2009 GlobalFastenerNews.com
