New Manager for Westby Production Components

Don Westby announced he is turning over Westby Production Components general manager duties to Dave Schmitting.

Westby founded the Wisconsin distributorship in 1988 and will remain the owner. Westby started in the fastener industry in 1968 with Elco. From 1975 to 1988 he sold fasteners in Wisconsin for Niles, IL-based Hoyt Fasteners. Westby was president of the National Fastener Distributors Association for 2002-03.

Schmitting began his fastener career in 1977 with Endries International. He worked eight years with Gateway until joining Westby last year.
