Timberline Acquires Bennett Denver
Timberline Fasteners acquired the assets of Bennett Denver.\
The Bennett Denver inventory will be integrated into the Timberline Fastener inventory over the next 90 days.
Doug Porter, general manager of Timberline Fasteners, said Bennett Denver �will be a very good strategic compliement to Timberline Fastener�s OEM business base, which over the last few years has been our fastest-growing business segment.�
Bennett Denver will continue operations in Denver through September, after which the entire operation will be integrated into the Timberline facility in Commerce City, CO.
The majority of the Bennett Denver employees will also make the move to Timberline Fasteners. Bennett Denver general manager Mike Derenne will become the business development manager for Timberline.
Bennett Denver is a full-line, stocking fastener distributor founded in 1968. Bennett Denver currently carries over 20,000 fastener items including U.S. standard and metric, alloys and exotic metals, commercial and Military Standard. Bennett Denver has been very successful serving select OEM customers requiring comprehensive product inspection and quality assurance on both standard and engineered fasteners.
Timberline Fasteners, formerly A&I Bolt and Nut, distributes fasteners in the Rocky Mountain region to OEM, MRO and retail customers. Jerhen Acquires Warren Industries
Jerhen Industries Inc. purchased the assets of Warren Industries, and the company will operate under the name Warren Division of Jerhen Industries Inc.
Jerhen is owned by president Roger Jerie and vice president Tom Henderson. Ray Lamb is the director of sales for automation and special machinery, and Jim Linhart is director of sales for fastener-related equipment.
Jerhen has retained the nucleus of longtime Warren employees for the continued sales and service of Warren equipment.

Nova, Vegas Acquire Lab
Nova Machine Products Corporation and Vegas Fasteners Inc. have jointly acquired the laboratory operations and equipment of Accutech LLC in Las Vegas. The companies will open Nevada Laboratories LLC on September 15, 2001.
Nevada Laboratories will provide chemical, mechanical and metallurgical testing as well as dimensional and nondestructive examination. NDE disciplines will include ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and visual examination.

Industrial Holdings Announces Letter of Intent
Industrial Holdings Inc. announced a letter of intent for the sale of its engineered products group and its subsidiary, Beaird Industries. The buyer has not been announced.
The group includes Jackson, MI-based Orbitform, American Rivet of Chicago, Ideal Products of Beason Falls, CT, and Landreth Products of Houston.
The sale is expected to close before IHI merges with T-3 Energy Services Inc. in October 2001.
Houston-based IHI retained Richard Hagan of Pinnacle Capital Corporation to review offers.
