Joachim Linders has joined General Inspection LLC to handle fastener, automotive and aerospace representation as Gi European sales agent. He has commercial experience in different European countries.

He is the son of Phillippe Linders, who has worked with General Inspection for a quarter century. Gi originally selected Phillippe for his knowledge of the fastener industry and fluency in five languages.

Phillippe said he hopes “to continue this fantastic work for a number of years to come. Phillippe recalled representing American companies in Europe and organizing trade missions for small and mid-size New England companies. He joined an American company that belonged to the Federal Mogul Group, and they created three factories for automotive and aerospace fasteners in Europe. After 14 years he went independent and started representing General Inspection and three other American companies.

“The need of the market for inspection machines in Europe in the 90s was great and I soon decided to drop the representation of the other companies and solely worked for General Inspection,” he explained.

“With constant innovation and a fantastic team of colleagues and engineers behind me it is a pleasure to promote the Gi technology in Europe, Africa, Middle East and where ever needed,” Spain-based Linders said. “While we concentrated solely our efforts in the 90s to the automotive fastener manufacturers, we have expanded heavily into ammunition, pharmaceutical and aerospace markets.”

General Inspection started manufacturing 100% sorting machines for fasteners in 1991. In 2003, Gi overhauled machines and introduced six new gauging, sorting and inspection systems. Headquartered at 10585 Enterprise Dr., Davisburg, MI 48350. Tel: 888 979-3804 Web: GeneralInspection.com
