Minneapolis investment firm ShoreView Industries is acquiring MRO fastener distributor Winzer Corp. for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1978, Plano, TX-based Winzer provides fasteners and consumable to industrial, automotive, institutional and government markets.

“Winzer has a unique business model, whereby it markets and sells its products through a network of nearly 300 independent, route-based franchisees,” Shoreview stated.

The company also operates brick and mortar stores in Texas and New Mexico, and distribution centers in Santa Fe Springs, CA; Saginaw, MI; Sparks, NV; and Plano. Winzer has more than 80,000 products, 30,000 customers and 275 franchisees. Web: Winzer.com
