SEFA to Mark 35th Anniversary At 2010 Spring Conference

The Southeastern Fastener Association will mark its 35th anniversary at its March 10-12, 2010, spring conference in Orlando.

Tony Nelson will moderate a forum on “Moving Forward Thru the Next 35 Years.”

SEFA first met in April 1975 at a Holiday Inn in Atlanta. Subsequently SEFA has held one or two general membership meetings annually at locations throughout the Southeast. Meetings included educational programs, golf and tennis, socials and table top trade shows. Members include distributors, manufacturers, importers, platers and manufacturers representatives. SEFA provides a library for members and a scholarship program.

The 2010 meeting will be at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando.

Conference sessions include Basic Anchor Training with Wejit vice president David Gentry focusing on cracked concrete and how it applies to the Southeastern Region; and Aflac agent Lee Hoffman on Affordable Options to Offer Employees Insurance for Daily Living. There will be a key ote speaker on “Sales & Marketing in These Tough Times followed by a supplier showcase.
