Figures for fastener exports to the U.S. were not provided.

Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute chairman Anchor Chang told Fastener World that Taiwan’s fastener price hikes were caused by raw material cost increases. He added that the drop in the volume of fastener exports from Taiwan to the EU was influenced by the EU’s termination of antidumping duties against Chinese fasteners.
