The late Charles L. Kerr founded the company in 1948. The late Richard Kerr worked at the company from 1949 to 2014 as it diversified from a hand screw machine and secondary operation to a manufacturer of many part configurations with 100 pieces of manufacturing equipment. Under current president/CEO Charles Kerr II, the company now produces “quality products that other manufacturers could not deliver.”
