There will be a new bonding and adhesive technologies section at the 2019 Fastener Fair Stuttgart.

The 8th biennial Fastener Fair Stuttgart will be March 19-21 at Messe Stuttgart in Germany.

Mack Brooks noted adhesives are “growing in importance in modern manufacturing and adhesives have become “a vital choice in lightweight construction, for example in the automotive and electronics industries.”

UK-based Mack Brooks announced more than 700 companies from 38 countries have booked booths for 2019 trade show in Germany.

Exhibitors thus far have booked 18,000 sq meters (194,000 sq ft) or 85% of total available space. That is the equivalent of 1,940 traditional U.S. 10×10 booths. The number of booths at the 2017 International Fastener Expo in Las Vegas totaled 1,039.

Among the countries thus far include Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, Turkey, China, India and Taiwan.

The 2017 edition of the biennial show drew 11,709 trade visitors from 91 countries. Mack Brooks calculated that as a 6% increase from 2015.

Trade show visitors include distributors, wholesalers, suppliers and engineers. Products and services include industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems and fastener manufacturing technology.

Since 2009 Fastener Fair Stuttgart has been recognized as the world’s largest fastener trade show.
