ITW reported Automotive OEM segment revenue, including fasteners, increased declined slightly to $781 million in the third quarter of 2018. Operating income fell 2.3% to $168 million, with margins slipping to 21.5%.

During the first nine months of 2018, Automotive OEM segment revenue rose 6.7% to $2.56 billion, while operating income improved 4.8% to $583 million and margins increased to 22.8%.

Q3 Construction Products revenue, including fasteners, fell 2% to $431 million, with operating income down .89% $111 million and a margin gain to 25.8%.

Nine-month Construction Products revenue improved 3.4% to $1.3 billion, with operating income up 4% to $315 million and margin improvement to 24.2%.

Overall Q3 ITW revenue slipped to $3.6.1 billion, with operating income down 7.4% to $889 million. Web: ITW.com
