Former TriStar Aerospace Owner Reinvests In Fastener Industry
Former TriStar Aerospace owner Odyssey Investment Partners acquired Wencor Group, an aerospace fasteners and components supplier based in Springville, UT. Terms were not disclosed.
Wencor founder Brent Wood is investing in the transaction along with Odyssey.
“Odyssey is an ideal partner for us as we enter this next stage of our development given its extensive experience and success in the aerospace business,” Wood stated.
Wencor’s PMA catalogue includes over 3,000 different parts for customers including airlines, MROs and OEMs.
With offices in New York and Los Angeles, Odyssey is a middle-market private equity firm with more than $2 billion under management. Along with TriStar, Odyssey has experience investing in aerospace businesses over the past 15 years.
